We went directly to the fabric store to get me some cotton knit I need for my designs. They have lots of cool fabrics from Korea.

Enroute to Roxas City, my childhood place, we passed by Passi City Jollibee from Iloilo. I couldn't help myself. I have to take a picture with him. Wala kayang ganyan sa Siem Reap! Hehehe!
Passi City. Very Pinas urbanscape. Gosh, I miss those tangled electrical lines and tricycles. Oh, and ugly cement architecture, if you can call it that.

There's a lot of talented young designers in Iloilo. A few of them decided to have a shop at Robinsons Place Iloilo. Here you see the set-up of Peer Banas and Jor-el Espina at the back.
That gold gown by Jor-el won the Best in Santacruzan award (not sure about the name of the award) and on the side is Dodie Tan's set-up. I love how everyone is so different in sensibilities. If you're a girly girl you will Dodie's clothes.
I love this jusi cut-out dress by Jor-el. I think it's so chic.

Before all these collaborations here and there exploded like poptarts being blasted by Decepticons, whoever in charge in the house of Louis Vuiton that time sure made a genius decision of including Helmut Lang to design a vinyl case for the house. I so want one even if it's the only monogram LV I will ever own (I tried but I just couldn't live carrying a monogram LV).
To celebrate Louis Vuitton's 100th year of the LV monogram in 1996, they collaborated with designers like Azzedine Alaia, Manolo Blahnik, Romeo Gigli, Isaac Mizrahi, Sybilla and Vivienne Westwood. The accompanying ad for the LV x Helmut Lang case features the legendary rapper Grand Master Flash. LV is truly a trailblazer when you think nowadays it's just so common for anybody - moviestars, designers, musicians, artists and even bloggers to collaborate with a clothing brand. For Maison Martin Margiela fans like moi: I just spied a piece from his historic f/w 1994-1995 collection under the 'A Doll's Wardrobe' concept on ebay.
This amazing piece is on 'buy now' at $79 with free shipping in the US.
I personally would want to have something from this collection especially the enlarged dog tags.
It's really a cute piece. I just adore the labels of MMM. It's a rare piece that's highly collectible, an avant piece to add to ones wardrobe at very low price.

It went out pretty well and I'm so glad because I was nursing a fever during the photoshoot. Tyra would be so proud. Btw, I'm wearing an all DP outfit- patchwork tee, stripe pants and bag, because they wanted us to wear our stuff. I purposely didn't wear an all-black outfit like my usual default style because I don't want to appear gothic like the rest of my photoshoots before.
