Quietly Pure And Still
Jurgen Lehl
Nowadays I prefer wearing simple clothes made of humble fabrics. It seems to be the ethos of Jurgen Lehl. Jurgen Lehl is a German fashion designer who came to Japan to visit in 1971 and fell in love with the Japanese natural organic aesthetic. He never left and 37 years later he has about 40 shops throughout Japan.
Textures And Other Strangeness
My thoughts on Yohji Yamamoto's fall/winter 2013 collection:
Balanced proportion of jacket, skirt and pants.
I adore the collar. It's all about the big collar!
Fascinating print in pink and gray. It reminds me of punk but it's not.
Those buttons function as what? Are they just decorative?
Apron chic! I think I can pull off this layered apron look.
Strange hairy coat but the texture makes you want to touch it.
Adorable graphic on the sweater. Very collectible.
Gang boss look. The new yakuza chic? I want!

The First
Maison Martin Margiela edition 1 AIDS tee
This I dream of getting to add in my collection of Margiela AIDS tee. I'd probably have a better chance finding it in a thriftshop like what happened with the white on white 10th anniversary edition piece I have. A friend found a black on black version in the thriftshop, too, and gave it to me. Well, actually I pestered and begged him until he agreed, hahaha!
Black Sneakers
Yohji Yamamoto leather & suede laced-up sneakers
In my quest to become a minimalist I declare this sneaker to be perfect for that kind of life. Not there yet but...
