dear don,

as promised, we are sending photos of our little evening with ricco and tina and their event organizer, gigi martinez.

one photo shows tina instructing the team from Raffles International how she wants her table set up. she was really picky with the flowers and the arrangements. everything wasn't good enough for her, even with the Raffles standards, so she did her own set up. they are doing about nine different set-ups for all their events next year. Two of their kids, Emilio and Julina even did their own set-up that time!

hopefully, by that time comes, ari ka na di! hehehehe.

BLESS Movement

For the past 4 months, I've been doing volunteer work for our church project called BLESS - basically a project to bring Bible study to homes in nearby communities. I'm so happy in doing this project every Sunday afternoon. We are grouped in teams and we have Bible lessons before doing our ministry work. So much fun that I've been absent only once and it was for work.

Print-ad photoshoot

I art directed and styled a print-ad for a client. The shoot was a breeze. Paul Chiongson took the photos and Benjie Sevilla did the hair and make-up. The clothes were from Maldita. Models: Shin Salaya and Charlene Casten.

I'm doing a fashion show on Monday!

My first finished top which is part of the collection I'm showing in a fashion show on november 13, 2006 for Hablon Moda.


The hablon fabric I'm using in some of my designs. The fabric is handwoven by local weavers in Miag-ao and Oton.

Handweave Fashion Show backstage

Jaki Penalosa presented her Holiday collection 2006, utilizing hand woven fabrics from Oton and Miag-ao. She titled her show "Handweave". There were lots of embroidery and cut works. I co-directed the show with Bo Parcon. Ria Bolivar flew in from Manila to model.
