Dinner at house with the Jamerlans

As our farewell dinner we invited Euge and Mae to the house.

I think it's really Pinoy to have people in their homes, serving them meals and entertaining them. Oh the conversation and gossips we had that night. Juicy! hehehe

We served them pork spareribs, a concession for the meat eaters, stir fried kang kong, tom yam gong, sweet&sour fish, litob shells with holy basil and vegetable couscous. For dessert we had ginger nougatine and cinnamon with specules ice creams. Then we had green tea to help us digest all of it. Mae and Eugene promised to come back and I hope they do it again next year.

Eugene Jamerlan

We had Pinoy guests visiting us ever since I arrived last year but the first Ilonggo to visit me here is my friend Eugene. I never expected it actually. He came with her sister Mae who is based in Ontario, Canada. Her house is very near Niagara Falls. I so happy Eugene had this chance to visit Angkor. Plus, may mga padala from home. Preview magazines, articles of Cecile Zamora, pictures and Imagine magazine. From Rofel and Ms. D. I loves it! Eugene is basically a lot of things. He is a cultural worker, helping in promoting Iloilo. He writes about food also and heritage stuff. A staunch supporter of anything Ilonggo, he helped us with some of our fashion shows.
