Ukay Hunting

After church I usually go ukay hunting.

That is the only way you can get decent clothes here. Unless you like overpriced Bangkok stuff in polyester cotton or those with glitters or those with chaka prints. Hay, basta depressing and over priced!

So of course in the countryside you can see poor kids.

Their version of those small tiangge. We have these back home especially if you live in a little town like, moi.

We tried exploring this market, around 10 minutes drive from downtown.

Louis Claparols isdatchu? Grabe talaga ang reach at influence ng bruha. Hehehe

Inside of the market.

Apres spa

After the spa, feeling rejuvinated from the massage, nap ang shower, I decided to check out Central Market. It has a Khmer name but I forgot now.

But first I get me a scoop of vanille ice cream from the cafe. Central Market is just very near Hotel de la Paix.

Checked Somatoa. Selling silk stuff. I wanna help them with their designs.

The inside of Central Market. I know, tourist stuff central. A trap! hehehe

Paging Stefano Pilati. Look o, fakelalooh!

Then I went to this little shop that sell this.

And this.

Got this. What do you think?

Planning to get this next

The rings that I got. Paging Tito Karl Lagerfeld, yohoo! Ala Chrome Hearts, o.

This nice piece is not for sale. It's just there for good luck.

More cute stuff from Ratanakiri.

Spa Indochine

I really like this water garden feature leading to the treatment rooms. I want one in my future house.

That's the thing about Cambodia. Going to the spa is a way of life. It's dime a dozen. We even went to this place that stayed open till 1am. And a whole body massage with aroma therapy thingy is just like $15! Anyway, spa at the Spa Indochine is luxury. It's kinda pricey but all worth it. And I get to have mine free so I'm lucky. Perks of the job. hehehe

80's top

Went ukay hunting with our friend Valerie from Phnom Penh. Brought her particularly to this thrift shop above a bubble tea joint near the central market. The stuff that they sell there came from Japan. I think I blogged about it already. Anyway, this black and gold top came from there.

Some free reads and lime juice

Oh, freebie! Asia Life Phnom Penh to keep me abreast with what's going on down there.

Travel+Leisure. In fairness, I get to read a lot of interesting stuff especially about shopping.

Free lime juice from chef. Imagine me in a hammock.
