The hotel and the new dish...

I was walking from pub street one night and I decided to take a picture of Hotel de la Paix. It's very imposing and grand. I was going back to the hotel because Chef Caz has this waiting for me:

A yummy new salmon dish, i taste basic French sauce base, cinnamon, oregano, thyme, all-spice, saffron, curry, with some snow peas, chili, coriander salad on top.

Delish! It really pays to be friends with the chef coz you get to be the head guinea pig (yes, i know! i know, you don't have to point it out!) for new dishes.

I swear I love food and all but our staff really knows how to eat. I haven't seen the most voracious eaters like the pips here in the hotel. Noodles, spring rolls and vegetables piled on top of each other. Plus the fruits! hehehe This after having lunch.

I think they enjoyed it although I wished our GM could have seen how they eat. hehehe

Swimming

I've been addicted to swimming lately.

Here's our pool in the hotel.

During weekends i usually eat junk like this potato skin chips from TGIF, cheese cake and cream cheese. Yum! Also, Diet Coke or Sprite. Sugar overload. I argue that I burn it anyway because of my swimming. But I really need to lose a lot of weight pa. I still feel fat talaga. Hay...

First Aid - Day 1

It's been years since I had my first-aid training. I think I did it in U.P. pa. Well, I was required to take this one since I think it's a requirement for work. No probs really since I thought it was fun.

Of course, acting the casualty is part of the program. Here you can see Joan working an Oscar winning performance of a fainting spell.

On the other hand, Widodo failed to grab a supporting role award since he couldn't act 'dead' at all.
