The shirt is the first Dior Homme I bought with my salary. I think that was in 2007 when Hedi Slimane was still designing so I really value this piece and also for sentimental reasons, mainly. It's still so current and modern, the genius of Slimane's design, and the subtle mix of different width of stripes in the pocket, cuffs and body. I also like how the collar was cut just so, like a sliver of cheese, in a sharp angle. I paired it with pants by Dries Van Noten, Muji shoes and a blue school bag I found in the thrift shop for $5.
