Surprise Despidida

My good friends cooked up a surprise despidida for moi the night before my trip back here in Siem Reap. I was actually worried because I haven't packed that time and my flight the next day was 7am to Manila. That means I have to be in the airport 2 hours before the flight. And I had to leave Iloilo like before 5am since it's 45minutes going to the airport. Oh well, it's always the case for me so it's not like I haven't done this before, right? The food at Esca's was so delish. Miguel outdid himself again in preparing vegetarian and seafood dishes. Tita Ette and Jor-el brought Sans Rival (my fave) from Burgos Bakery (traditional Ilonggo bakery) and Goldilocks. Hands down it's Burgos' version that rocked the taste. But the thing is we finished both cakes! Major sugar overload. It's such a memorable night especially Miguel's demo of that magnetic bracelet thingy that he's selling. Also, it's the first time that Bo and Jor-el patched things up after they had a huge argument. Made me teary eyed just thinking about it. LOL! It's also nice hanging out with new characters in the circle like Jerson, D-John, OJ and Mike Avelino. I still feel so connected with Iloilo all the more. Thank you, thank you!
