You really have to be prepared to get sweaty when you go thrifting although it doesn't mean you have to look like a poor scavenger, non? A simple tank and comfy pants paired with accessories usually werqs for moi. I also don't forget to bring my eco totes and bags so I don't have to ask for plastic bags for my loots. I tend to bring my large nylon Longchamp bag because I tend to buy a lot.
My usual companion now are Cielo and Faith.
Here in Cambodia there's a lot of places where you can ukay, usually in the local markets, away from the tourist droves.
I tell you it can get really hot and dusty here.
Your competition are the locals who like glittery fabrics and polyester. I get the black, drape-y pieces and the oversized cotton ones, hehehehe!
Apres, we would pass by our favorite local snack place serving the best local puto (rice cakes), maja blanca (rice flan), fried meatballs, mango salad and other fare.
